This is our regular Oakeshott Sword hilt but mounted on a hollow ground blade. This matches the original a bit more closely and is a wonderful feeling sword. Check out our blog post here that compares the original with our stock and hollow ground version of the sword.
The hilt is steel with a beveled wheel pommel of oval outline, incised with two parallel lines running vertically in the center. The grip is bound in twisted steel wire. The top and bottom ferrules of worked steel hold the decorative steel bar elements in place. The guard is straight with a graceful trumpeted shape.
