The earliest surviving fight manuals that depict longsword combat come from the last half of the 15th century and this is the type of sword they would have used. This longsword has a steel guard and pommel of simple form. The pommel is a slightly recessed hubbed wheel and the guard is a simple steel arc curving towards the tip.
The slightly waisted long grip is covered in black leather and has a mid and fore riser under the leather.
There is one available of this sword and comes with a leather scabbard.
