Black Friday Weekend: Merry Axemas

This year for Black Friday we are offering a package deal on axes!  If you purchase any Dane Axe you can add a Nordland Axe for just $100 instead of the normal price of $165.  It's the perfect time to expand your axe collection.  This sale will be active from midnight Friday morning until the end of the day on Sunday, 30th November 2025. We will also have other promotions throughout the holiday season, including the introduction of a new spear model for sale starting Friday.

Type M Dane Axe with Reinforced Edge

This deal applies with any of our Axes with the name "Dane", including reinforced and non-reinforced edge options.  These are the big boys straight out of the 11th century featuring a 1050 carbon steel blade that is differentially hardened mounted on an ash haft. Featured prominently in historical documents like the Bayeux Tapestry, these are based on extant examples.

Arms and Armor Nordland Axe

Our Nordland Axe is a hatchet sized utility axe/weapon based on archaeological examples from the early Viking period.  These feature a 4140 carbon steel blade, differentially hardened with the forge-black left on for some rust resistance (also, it looks cools). The haft on these are hickory. These are great as a modern camp axe or for reenactment, they are also good for throwing. Best of all, you can kind of fit one in a (largish) Christmas stocking.  We have plenty of these in stock, so if you order during this promotion you will get it before the holiday.
